Hi everyone, you may or may not have noticed that I’ve been active less and less often on this blog for the last few months, or that most things in my queue aren’t dan and phil related anymore.
The truth is, I’m not interested in dan and phil anymore and the world of anime and manga has taken over my mind and pushed all thoughts of youtubers out.
I have an anime blog ~~@ytaadashi~~ SEE BELOW CHANGED BLOG (in which I post mostly haikyuu atm but I want to eventually expand it to a multi-fandom blog Can you all please reccommend some anime blogs and also some anime/manga for me please? You can see what animes/manga I have read/watched here: ytaadashi.tumblr.com/aboutme) as a side-blog but because it is a side-blog, I can’t ask other people questions with it or follow blogs with it, which is making me unable to connect with other anime blogs and the only way is to delete dantrovert.
It may sound like a hasty and stupid decision, but I’ve considered this for a very long time. And I just want to thank you to all the people who I made friends with and made my time in the phandom enjoyable <3 and also to the people I follow and my follow <33

I know it's maybe not something you want or it's more of an Instagram thing but would you ever consider giving this account away instead of just deleting it? It seems like you have a lot of followers and it just seems like a waste

It IS more of an instagram thing although I think some people on tumblr do it as well. But I don’t want to because my followers are people too and not just a number and they chose to follow me so I feel as if it’s really insincere if I just gave away my account to someone else (do u get it? im not that good at explaining things sorry :p)

And also since I’m deleteing this blog so I can use my anime blog (currently a side-blog) as my main blog (ok now im panicking does that actually work???) so giving away this account won’t help because it’ll give away my side-blog as well (right?)

ALSO CAN SOMEONE TELL ME IF DELETING MY MAIN BLOG WILL DELETE MY SIDE BLOGS AS WELL OR WILL IT THEN SWITCH MY SECONDARY BLOG TO MY MAIN ONE? (very urgent)

just wondering what made you loose interest in d&p? totally understand btw, I kind of feel the same but do you know what happened exactly?

Well, firstly, it’s NOT because of annoying problems in the phandom or anything (although there are some of those). It’s just I lose interest in things easily and take up new interests easily as well and although I’ve been obsessed with dan and phil for a few years now, I recently started watching anime and reading manga and due to the small amount of free time, I began to watch and read more and more anime/manga and I just didn’t have time to watch their videos or go on tumblr. It was really weird and even I’m confused to why I stopped taking an interest in them :p It was like one week I was enjoying my time on my phan blog and the next week everything d&p related on my dash just irritated me. At first, I really didn’t want to give up this blog because I’ve spent so much time on here and made so many friends and it was really fun, so I tried to fill up my queue but it was really hard forcing myself to do something I didn’t want to. I was also very fond of my followers who seemed to always be there to comfort me and also ask me questions when I was bored <3 Managing a new blog would also mean starting over (but now I don’t mind that much because it’ll be fun!) This blog just became bothersome and in the way (sorry it’s just my true feelings). That’s when I knew I truly lost interest - when their videos didn’t appeal to me anymore and I didn’t admire them the way I did before (although any phanart is STILL AMAZING AND CUTE and the artists are extremely talented). I think it’s also because I stopped talking to my tumblr friends for a while and I just wasn’t sure how to face them after stopping for so long :/

Anyways, it’s really natural to lose interests in things eventually so that was basically the main reason c: (Also, a few months ago, one of my close tumblr friends also stopped taking an interest in d&p because of problems in the phandom) Hope this helped you!
